For me, it usually means choosing a special dress that makes me feel that extra bit glamorous. This year, it was all about simplicity and polish – clean lines, rich tones, and a silhouette that felt super flattering and timeless.

The birthday look

As a November baby, finding a birthday outfit that’s both glam and warm is an annual challenge. Whether it’s styling tights, a maxi dress, or a fur coat, I make it my mission strike the perfect balance between cosy and celebratory.

This year, I wanted a look that felt effortlessly feminine and in tune with this season’s colours – and the Oh Polly Ainslee midi dress set the tone perfectly. I already had this dress in black (it’s one of my all-time favourite staples), so adding it in brown felt like the perfect seasonal upgrade.

Styled with matching brown kitten heels, my favourite handbag, and a fur coat, the look stayed both refined and weather-proof. Most importantly, I felt confident and entirely myself – ready to embrace a brand new chapter.
