I’ve always had a love for storytelling, and since beginning my journey as a content writer, I discovered a true passion for creating thoughtful, beautifully designed content. With experience writing for the construction and B2B industries, I knew I wanted to carve out a space where I could also write (and paint!) about the things I genuinely love - fashion, travel, and everything in between.

The Valentyne is a love letter to the everyday moments that inspire me, from the banks of the Tyne and beyond. It’s where I bring together my professional experience and personal passions to create something that feels authentically mine. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

I’m based in the North East of England in Newcastle upon Tyne (hence The Valentyne!).

I post a variety of content, from travel itineraries and fashion articles to local features and everyday lifestyle pieces.

Whether it’s a recent trip abroad, a lookbook of my favourite outfits, or a guide to hidden gems around Newcastle, I love sharing my interests and the moments that shape my everyday life.

I also share my artwork, capturing the scenes and stories that inspire me through watercolour.

I go where I feel curious! So far, I’ve been making my way around Europe, but I’d love to venture beyond when the opportunity arrives. I also collect keyrings from each destination - the tackier the better!

Currently, my dream destination is Nashville, Tennesee (yeehaw!).

My fashion style is very girly and reminiscent of the 70s. I tend to gravitate towards neutral colours like white, beige, and brown, as I love that simple, quiet luxury vibe.

Think long skirts, flared jeans, and girly crop tops. Don’t forget the chunky gold jewellery!
